Sandro’s Studio
Sandro’s Studio on March 2025.
Sandro D’Agaro, born in 1999, comes from Cinto Caomaggiore. His hometown is a small village in the province of Venice, inhabited by only three thousand souls. Though modest in size, it has left a deep imprint on his way of seeing the world. Its quiet streets and measured rhythm shaped the sensitivity he carries within. In this setting, his studio was born both a real space and an inner refuge. It is not merely a room with walls, but a sanctuary where memory and thought converge. There, he recovers forgotten fragments of his mind, subtle and elusive in nature. For him, creation is not only an act of doing, but above all an act of observing. He often spends long hours contemplating his blank, unfinished canvases. To his eyes, their emptiness is not absence but a living possibility. The moment of action arrives suddenly, in gestures that are instinctive and passionate. Each stroke on the canvas is charged with necessity rather than calculation. In those brief instants, time seems to dissolve, leaving only pure intensity. The studio holds both his chaos and his calm, his urgency and his patience. And all around, Cinto Caomaggiore frames this search, reminding him of his roots. The silence of his village becomes the silence before creation. It is from that silence that his art emerges, kindly, powerful and alive.
